I want to share with you a project that is close to my heart.

If you are like me, you know that these times call for a whole new education--one that can most immediately focus on the ecological regeneration of the lands and waters that sustain us all. An increasing number of young people want to devote their college years to the work at hand and I want to help them do just that.

That’s what New Paradigm College is all about: providing a whole new approach to community involvement in higher education. NPC is focussed on both the deep leadership and the practical tools to address issues like climate and the loss of so many significant and sacred places.

This important work starts with ONE place.

New Paradigm College ("NPC") is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational institution and event center formed to co-create a college with and within the community of Lake County, California, at a time when a new re-patterning education is needed to serve life on Earth.

In partnership with the Lake County community, NPC provides education in “new paradigm” design tools and in regenerating ecosystems. This regenerative education has the potential to activate and heal the community, who long for sustenance, connection, meaning and health.

After more than a decade of projects right here in Lake County, CA, our co-founders have learned that working together, particularly in hands-on projects that spark the imagination, can change a person's internal story from one of isolation and disconnection to one of connection and community. We see the need for a new generation of leaders equipped with these design tools of possibility.

Today, NPC is raising $200K to establish flagship educational programs focused on the regeneration of Lake County and beyond and to begin transforming a 1920’s era majestic hotel known as the “Lucerne Castle” into a functioning residential college and conference center to amplify this work.
